MARCHWIEL HALL ESTATE

Marchwiel Hall is located just outside the village of Marchwiel on the outskirts of Wrexham. It was purchased in 1913 by Sir Alfred McAlpine who developed the cricket ground into "one of the most picturesque settings for playing the game in the country". It has remained in the family since then and after undergoing extensive repairs and renovations is now finding new life as a wedding/events venue. It is also home to the Marchwiel and Wrexham Cricket Club.
